Billie Stephanie (Dunbar) Berube, age 60, of Central Falls, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on Saturday, surrounded by her loving family.
Billie was born in November 1960 in North Providence. She attended North Providence public schools and was a graduate of the class of 1978. She spent her career in different roles within the medical field including ICU Secretary, Internal Medicine Secretary, and most recently Pharmacy Technician. There weren’t many doctors in the state that didn’t know Billie by name. She was an avid lover of all lighthouses, traveling near and far to catch glimpses of them and take photos in front of them. The beach was her happy place and there were not many things a trip to the seashore couldn’t fix for her. Traveling up to Kittery, ME for both the beach and the lighthouses was amongst her favorite pastimes. She was a dedicated Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mom, Memere, Aunt, and friend. She spent most of her time doing things before anyone asked and always without complaint. Everything she did was for the right reasons. Her family, and in particular her grandchildren, were the most important thing to her. She would move heaven and earth to be at every event, large or small. She provided constant kindness, unconditional love, and total support to all of her family members. She was unwaveringly selfless, thoughtful, and bold and she would encourage you to be the same way.
Left to cherish her memory are; her father, William Dunbar Jr of Lincoln, RI, husband Joe Beaulieu of Central Falls, children; Heather and Stephen Phillips of Smithfield, RI, Justin and Jamie Berube of Central Falls, RI, Jennifer and Brian Dziedzic of Seekonk, MA, Kristina Beaulieu and John Patrick Rodrigues of Seekonk, MA, grandchildren; Mya Victoria and Mackenzie London Phillips, Lijah Michael Rivera, Emma Lorraine Dziedzic, and in a few weeks, Leanna Billie Brielle Berube. She will also be cherished by her Grandmother; Eugenia (Jean) Derosier, Siblings; Mary Harnois of Rehoboth, MA, Paula Soares of North Providence, RI, David Dunbar (Cindy) of Pawtucket, RI, Gregory Dunbar (Marlyse) of Clermont, FL, Peter Dunbar (Tracy) of Fort Lawn, SC, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and godchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Dunbar.
A visitation will be held Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 4-7pm at Keefe Funeral Home 5 Higginson Avenue Lincoln, RI 02865 with a Mass of Christian burial at 10 am on March 19, 2021 at St Teresa of the Child Jesus Church 354 Newport Avenue Pawtucket, RI 02865, Burial is in St Ann’s Cemetery in Cranston, RI.
